Teaching: Ideas taught by an authority Instructions are given to learners to do something (a certain activity) without going into to much detail in explaining what is expected of them. Teaching is done by an educator where learners are being taught and things are being explained in order to ensure that they understand what is expected of them. 2. Good teaching in normally loosely defined, as student in education field describe to someone who is not in the field of education, what ‘good teaching’ is? “Teaching is more than just presenting content.” Good teacher/a Good teacher is someone who has the learners best belonging at heart, someone that goes the extra mile for learners. Teaching does not stop at the curriculum itself. 3. Explain why teaching is about making responsible decisions for learning. Give examples. Learning is conducted with a very specific outcome, thus making decisions for learning is so important. Decisions about curriculum, number of learners in the classroom, the times that school start, etc. 4.
