I. Introduction
A. Thesis Statement:
Effective and efficient communication is the key to success within an organization when it
relates to organizational communication. Productive organization communication is a
direct result of employees and leaders, who know and understand the importance and how
to implement human communication, conflict resolution, conflict management, when and
where to utilize informal and formal communication, and active listening to their
organization.
II. Body Paragraph. Topic Sentence 1(Human Communication)
Human communication is in the forefront of communication as humans interact with messages
such as verbal, nonverbal, and external messages all day long which is a basic foundation to
human communication.
A. Supporting Evidence:
Kreps (2011) stated that messages are the primary symbols of the communication process; they
work as cues to stimulate communicators to create meaning.
B. Explanation:
Messages are sent in number of ways. Whether we are using verbal, nonverbal, or external
messages, the message we send can be interpreted in a number of ways. Understanding the fact
that people can and will interpret the meaning of our messages is an important key to the
organizational culture and communication.
