, Inleiding
Na aanleiding van de kniecasus waarbij de therapeut alleen de Thessaly test wilde
gebruiken om meniscusletsel aan te tonen ben ik onderzoek gedaan naar de evidentie
van de Thessaly test. Het is een dynamische test die relatief goedkoop is in
tegenstelling tot een MRI-scan en kan in verschillende zorgstelsels worden
uitgevoerd. In dit verslag heb ik twee artikelen beoordeeld om te kijken wat de
wetenschappelijke evidentie is voor de Thessaly test. Om een juiste klinische
beslissing te nemen heb ik de wetenschappelijke evidentie gecombineerd met de
waarde van de patiënt en het perspectief van de fysiotherapeut.
