TOVA: A computerized test that has two conditions. In the first half of the TOVA test
the participant must identify the target (which appears once to every 3.5 times that the
target appears) as a measure of attention. An error of omission occurs when the target is
not identified. In the second half of the test the participant needs to identify the target
(which occurs 3.5 times to every once that the no target occurs). An error of commission

Satisfaction With Life Scale: Is a brief five question questionnaire with a seven-point
response scale. The Satisfaction with Life Scale is used to assess people’s satisfaction
with their lives overall and personal well-being. The scores range from 5 (completely
dissatisfied) to 35 (very satisfied). The scale measures global cognitive judgements of
satisfaction with one’s life, translating into many languages, asking about your present,
past and future well-being. (Diener et al.).

The Marshmallow Test: Is a way to test delayed gratification, self-control and
willpower. The test tries to describe self-control by giving participants (children but can
also be done on adults) the freedom to choose between two choices. The experiment
starts with a plate of marshmellows in front of the participant. The first choice is, waiting
for the researcher to return to the room after leaving for a short while and receiving two
