, Lab 17 Nutrition BIO202L
Student Name: Mackenzie Gasperich
Access Code (located on the lid of your lab kit): AC- FTCO54R
Pre-Lab Questions:
1. How do the intake of nutrients and expenditure of energy relate to a metabolic level?
Your metabolic level is based off of the nutrients you bring into your body. The more calories
you bring in the more energy. The higher the metabolism will be if you continuously feed your
body the needed nutrients.
2. Do you think you take in more calories than you burn in a day? Why or why not?
Yes and no. I think it depends on the day. Somedays I eat better and I am more active. Over the
weekends, I tend to eat worse and I am not as active.
