, Sumatriptan (Imitrex) and Diazepam and Lorazepam and Buspirone:
zolmitriptan (Zomig) Clonazepam and Alprazolam
Amitriptyline (others in this Fluoxetine (Prozac) Others in the same Venlafaxine (Effexor XR) Others
same category are category: Paroxetine (Paxil), citalopram in this same category:
imipramine, doxepin, (Celexa), excitalopram (Lexapro), desvenlafaixine (Pristiq) and
protriptyline/Aventyl, Sertraline (Zoloft) duloxetine (Cympbalta)
amoxapine,
trimipramine/Surmontil)
Phenelzine (Nardil) Others Bupropion hydrochloride (Wellbutrin) Lithium (Lithobid)
in the same category:

(Clozaril)
Betaxolol (Betopic) and Fentanyl (and other opioids: Morphine,
Timolol (Timoptic) Dilaudid/Hydromorphone, Oxycodone)
Find this in the Neuro System Part one
in ATI under “anesthesia.
Laboratory Values (know these and be able to interpret them in relation to meds you have learned about)
AST (aspartate aminotransferase) 5-40 units/L
ALT (alanine aminotransferase) 8-20 units/L
Amylase 56-90 IU/L
Lipase 0-110 units/L
Direct (conjugated) bilirubin 0-0.3 mg/dL
Indirect (unconjugated) bilirubin 0.1-1 mg/dL
Phenytoin level 10 to 20 µg/mL
Lithium Level 0.6 to 1.2 mEq/L. Measurement of the serum levels should be carried out at
least 6 to 12 hours after the last therapeutic dose to avoid misinterpretation of
pre-distributional levels
Creatinine The normal range for creatinine in the blood may be 0.84 to 1.21 milligrams
per deciliter (74.3 to 107 micromoles per liter), although this can vary from lab
to lab, between men and women, and by age
Creatinine Clearance Normal values are: Male: 97 to 137 mL/min (1.65 to 2.33 mL/s). Female: 88 to
128 mL/min (14.96 to 2.18 mL/s).
