Specialty Luggage Manufacturing, which is part of the Clothing Store
Industry, manufactures and sells soft and hard sided luggage, briefcases,
hanging bags, and handbags. The “Toughie” range of hard-cover luggage
is the company's best-selling item. It's created in a five-step process that
allows for a range of exterior finishes and colours.
For its "Toughie" baggage, the company wants to construct a robust
metal and plastic frame. They also want to put in place a quality control
system to ensure that the travel bags are of good quality. The assembly
procedure includes constructing a heavy-duty metal and plastic frame.
