Many people will look at a preschool center and compare it to babysitters just watching
students from open to close. This is so far from the truth! Preschool centers are so important for
the development of little ones, teachers spend the entire day helping build the steppingstones to
prepare our students for elementary school. The skills that your child learn in preschool will
scaffold, meaning that they will add on as the years go. Think about it for a moment, child have
to learn to crawl before they can walk. They have to learn how to hold a crayon and to identify
letters before they can write and spell. These skills may seem small, but they are part of the
bigger picture and are critical for your little ones to learn.
Investment in ECE
Children are the future so we should always invest in them. Investing in these programs
will help teachers get additional training so they keep up to date on new techniques to benefit
your little ones. The first few years are vital for students to develop the building blocks, children
need access to these facilities to learn and grow.
Components of a High-Quality ECE
Having a high-quality early childhood center involves a few main components to ensure
that things run smoothly from day to day. One huge component is making sure that lesson plans
are following the curriculum. Teachers should make sure they are promoting learning and
helping their students reach learning goals while in their care. The director should always look
over and approve lesson plans to make sure that they are following the desired curriculum as
