Introduction, Thesis Statement, and Annotated Bibliography
GEN 499: General Education Capstone
Introduction
Think about residing in a world where there is no poverty, and everyone has the same
compensation and pay regardless of their abilities, the tasks that are required to be completed and
different factors that typically affect pay. This is unrealistic because a government doesn’t believe
everyone should receive the same pay when it is clear there is a gap in education and experience.
This paper will examine and go over the correlation between poverty and income inequality. There
is a need for these studies due to the fact poverty is generally a difficulty in small rural regions in
which respectable activity possibilities are not easily to be had.
Thesis
Poverty and Income inequality had significantly multiplied during the last 5-10 years and
there is nothing that has been put out to show why. There are some who believe that the rise of
poverty and inequality is due to jobs being removed because of the rough patch the country has
been going through. Additionally there are studies that suggest the rise in poverty and income
inequality is due to the location someone lives at and the amount of education they have.. This paper
will speak about the worldwide societal issues which also can relate the motive of poverty and
income inequality around the world.
