Human Resource Planning and Organizational Strategy

For human resource planning to execute a suitable organizational strategy, it needs to

outline occupations and create skills needed for the job's performance. This paper will take a

gander at examining the relationship between human resource planning activities and the

organization’s strategic development and implementation. Additionally, portray the staffing

process's eight elements and the relationship between those elements and the four human

resource planning activities.

Relationship between Human Resource Planning and Organization’s Strategic

The relationship between human resource planning activities and the organization’s

strategic development and implementation is fundamental. They address a shared resource that

guarantees the organization's development, survival, and achievement. Human resource planning

has a ton to do with its procedure because it helps manage and motivate the organization's

employees because without the actual presence of people who know what, when, and how the

organization would achieve its goals. “Organizations exist since individuals have physical and

intellectual capacities and can develop organizations. HR is the organization's first strategic

resource; it is one of the most critical investments in an organization whose results become

apparent over time” (Ene et al., 2017, p.62).

When an organization designs any activity about development or changes inside the

organization, they should assess and revise their goals to include everybody to all head in the

same direction of achieving those goals. In doing so, they would have to distinguish and explore

all the chances that an organization has, create objectives they need to accomplish, distinguish

, the plan of action to achieve the goals, as well as identify the resources needed to achieve those

goals (Plunkett, Allen & Attmer, 2013). Organization strategy rouses the ability and the capacity

of its employees. Organization strategy makes the human resource planning activities simple

given the coordinated arrangement that improves correspondence. According to Moses (2019),

“While the strategic partner will be focused on developing processes that can be utilized to

improve performance, it is essential that HR professionals possess the required competencies

based on their roles.” Organization strategies determine hows to perform their work of delivering

value to their customers.

The Staffing Process

The most potent instrument for organizations has a human resource staffing process plan

that addresses its issues. A suitable human resource staffing process contains significantly more

than advancement and the correspondingly basic workers. “Staffing involves finding and placing

employees in jobs for which they have the appropriate skills” (Bierman, Ferrell & Ferrell, 2016,

sect. 6.4). Parts of a process plan range from promoting and marketing employment opportunities

to interaction. The eight elements of the staffing process are as per the following:

 “Human resource planning includes forecasting the organization’s future interest

for workers and the future representatives and planning projects to address those

issues” (Bierman, Ferrell & Ferrell, 2016).

 “Recruiting is the process of drawing in potential new employees to the

organization” (Bierman, Ferrell & Ferrell, 2016).

 “Selection is the process of gathering data about candidates and use it to conclude

whom to hire. The essential gadgets incorporate application forms, interviews,

testing, and reference checks” (Bierman, Ferrell & Ferrell, 2016, sect. 9.4).


 “Orientation is the process of acquainting newly hired employees with fellow

workers, company procedures, and the organization's physical properties”

(Bierman, Ferrell & Ferrell, 2016, sect. 9.5).
