Wireless, mobile computing, and mobile commerce is essential to the continued growth
and expansion of the business into the 21st century. Americans today are increasingly connected
to the world of digital information, and just about every adult in the U.S. has a mobile device in
their pocket. This creates an opportunity to market directly to the potential consumer. It is
important to properly integrate wireless, mobile computing technology, it will ensure the
business continues to grow for the foreseeable future. On the other side of the coin, this
technology requires a constant surveillance to ensure that it does not have any down time or lost
orders due to technical malfunctions. The one area where this technology has gaps is the back
office. For instance, real time inventory will certainly help management with ordering and loss
prevention, despite that, this technology will not be able to create business and sales plans for
future business expansion. That is where the second technology comes advantageous.
Technology Two
The business analytics and business intelligence solutions is the second technology that
will help solve our objective to enable the management team to build better reports and in turn
make better decisions. If properly integrated and used, management can analyze the raw data a
company produces. This technology provides a series of related activities, such as data mining,
querying, and reporting. As mentioned earlier, the data received will be turned into information,
and based on this information organization can cut costs, make better decisions, and identify new
opportunities. In addition, the received knowledge can be utilized to form sales plans, website
designs, and even which product to promote or discount. The downside of this technology is that
