Projections of the West towards Supernatural and Shamanic Healing Of Culture of the Diaspora This paper is a reflection about the exotic, neurotic, and erotic projects of the west on matters to do with the shamanic and supernatural healing of culture of the diaspora. This is in the setting of multicultural social justice competencies in the context of current social politics. From this we seek to discuss two major ideas delivered from chapters one and two helpful to me. First it can be seen that the notion of traditional societies being primitive tends to be biased. Also the cultures tend to be different across communities in which each society happens to be identified with unique traditions such as magic. Analysing from the readings, we learn that religion and magic are connected as illustrated below.
