Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to put everything you have learned this quarter together. The
project will test you on the tasks you have performed during the lab sessions in this course.
General Instructions:
This is an open-book and open-notes project. You may use any reference material that you
wish to complete the project.
This is an individual project. Working in groups is NOT permitted!
Once you have started this final, do not reset your virtual machines to work on other chapter
activities.
All exercises will utilize ServerDC1.
Exercises 1-5 and 12 utilize the ServerHV1 virtual machine.
Exercises 6-10 and 15 utilize the ServerSA1 virtual machine.
Exercises 11 and 13 utilize ServerDM1 and ServerDM2.
Do exercise 14 on ServerDM1.
Provide one or more screen shots for each step, as needed, documenting that you have
achieved the desired result. Points possible are listed to the right of each step.
All screenshots MUST have your VM number in the top left corner visible or you will NOT get
credit for that screenshot.
Exercises:
1. Create a new Virtual Machine and install Windows Server 2016 Desktop Edition. - [200]
a. Create the Virtual Machine with the appropriate memory, networking, hard disk and
media to properly install Windows. The VM name will be “FinalDE-#” (for all
exercises # will reference your VM number).
