List two characteristics each of real, intellectual, and personal property.
Personal property is characterized by its portable nature; it can be carried from place to
place (Rogers 2012). An example of this might be my wife’s wedding ring or my son’s bicycle.
Also, personal property can be either tangible or intangible (Roger’s 2012). The items I listed
above are tangible items. Most property falls into this category: a car, wallet, photograph, shirt,
pen, and phone are all common examples of tangible personal property (Rogers, 2012). We also
