Consequences of Skipping School
Throughout the history of education, it has been proven that hundreds of
Panamanian students miss school due to different factors. This is something extremely
worrying because this is known and it is reflected in the statistics at the end of the school
year. It is said that the education system has to change; but a convincing result is not
perceived. This means that the educational system must evaluate year after year this crisis
and create educational policies regarding study or pleasure in attending to the school.
The fact of missing school is definitive for the student to lower their academic
performance, which means getting bad grades and sometimes even not having them. The
word of encouragement, of constant encouragement to the student from his facilitator who
must project attitude, security, motivation, respect and human quality, is so essential.
However, the health factor is also a chronic reason for non-attendance. There is a failure
here because only the number of absences is perceived and not the reason.
These beautiful and valuable qualities of those who form or guide another human
being would be the lack, demotivation and on many occasions even apathy in certain
subjects. Since they would feel part of a growing team, and thus for him or her it would be
extremely important to be aware that they have a responsibility to themselves. This is
achieved with the collaboration of all parents, leaders, community members, organized
groups, institutions and society. Just by perceiving, living, sharing, projecting, enjoying and
recreating all together.
It is sad to hear and perceive how a large number of students are moving away from
school until they drop out of school. All this due to different family, social, economic and
solidarity circumstances. This impoverishes the human being, because it revolves around
vice, weaknesses and they totally lose the value of effort and life. The lack of norms of
behavior, the wrong development in society and family destroys the human being in all
aspects of her dignity.
Economic programs of an educational nature are also affected. On the other hand,
the opportunity to obtain a decent or decent job decreases. The doors are closed due to the
lack of a diploma or the requested work experiences. In this age which is so technological,
developed and sophisticated, not having a high school diploma that accredits a whole
student life is a great disadvantage for anyone who wants to work. This attitude or behavior
can be overcome and feel a number of personal and collective satisfactions. Therefore, it is
essential to be clear about the schedules to be organized and to have the support of the
family.
Currently, circumstances demand the eminent need to create, project and act
immediately with confidence, motivation. Inspired by growing and being, there will be
autonomy, self-control and responsibility to move forward, not stagnate, less surrender, and
they are able to grow in the midst of complex reality. They should try it, challenge themself
