may impact international acquisition program activities
• Explain how the National Disclosure Policy ( NOP ) implements the Arms Export Control Act
( AECA), Executive Order ( E.O. ) 13526, and National Security Decision Memorandum ( NSDM )

• Recognize the steps in making disclosure authorization decisions
• Describe the various means to satis fy protection requirements associated with disclosure
authorizations
• Describe various alternative security arrangements in the absence of a General Security
Agreement

Military Information ( CMI ) and Controlled Unclassified
Information ( CUI ) sharing by DoD personnel through
a number of Technology Security and Foreign
Disclosure (TSFD ) processes :
• TSFD decisions are made only after
considering the potential benefits of building
allied and friendly nation partner capabili ty
efforts to advance our political and military
objectives while maintaining United States
operational and technological advantages and
protecting critical technology from adversaries
• There are numerous interagency or Office of
the Secretary of Defense ( OSD )- level TSFD
processes in addition to Military Department
( MILDEP) or other DoD Component internal
processes that may apply to a specific
international acquisition program
