Disclosure Officer and mentor. In this lesson, we'll discuss U.S. Government
export authorizations . Export authorizations provide U.S. private sector entities
with the authority to share export controlled information, articles, and services
either classified or controlled unclassified with foreign recipients .
We'll talk about U.S. Government export control laws, regulations, policies, and
procedures that apply to private sector entities as well as the export control
authorizations used by the DoD for Government-to-Government transfers of
defense articles and services .
Finally, we'll take a look at U.S. Government export control violations and
associated penalties . Let's take a look at our objectives for this lesson .
