can you tell me about the PTSD
09:47 AM E
PTSD is something I live w ith ever y day, but some days it affects me mor e than other s . . . I have
nightmar es, and sometimes I get flashbacks to w hat happened. I oper ate at this level of aler tness
other people don't understand. It's easy to startle me, and at times I'm afraid . . . I'm afraid of
situations I w ouldn't have been afraid of before I w as sex ually assaulted. I'm hypervigilant. I don't like
to be alone in a room w ith men. It's hard for me to trust people, to be vulnerable . . . That's probably
w hy all of my relationships have crashed and burned. I can't let people get close to me. It's hard for
me to have fun. Ther e ar e other symptoms, but those ar e the ones I notice the most.
