ICT 2622 Assignment 2 Student No: Unique No: Question 1 1.1 System analysis are the activities within the system development that enable system Analysts or anyone working with the system to understand what the new system should provide (the goal of the new system). System design are the activities within the system development that describes in detail how the new information system will be implemented. 1.2 Agile development is the process of developing an information system taking note of the flexibility and rapid response to anticipate new and changing requirements during the development of the system. Advantage of the agile development is that users understand the problems and complexity of the new system. Disadvantage of agile development is that the development is carried out in different processes iteratively and each process is repeated which can consume time. 1.3 Functional requirements are those characteristics of the system other than those activities the system must support or perform. Usability requirements describes the operating characteristics to users such as a user interface. Reliability requirements describes how well is the system reliable to users by avoiding outages and information processing problems. Performance requirements they describe how well the system performs by measuring the workload while the system is running. Security requirements they describe how access to the application will be controlled and how data will be protected during storage and transmission Question 2 2.1 The question types that can be asked are open ended questions and close ended questions. Open ended questions are questions that are asked requiring an explanation, elaboration or discussion into more detail e.g. how is this going to work. Close ended questions are question asked to get specific facts or answers e.g. how many license application do the department receive each day. 2.2 2.2.1 External events – this are events that occur outside the system, they are initiated
