Executive Summary
Developing organization confronting issues with the administration, group and employees, have
led to misfortunes in revenues because of the seriousness of these issues. Aims are to distinguish
these issues and concoct suggestions to settle them. Main discoveries: Three key zone of issues –
Team Development, Leadership and structure. Conclusion
Introduction
Blake Sports Apparel Switch and Activewear is an organization that deals with
manufacturing and distribution of apparel and accessories. If a business does not show
cooperation, then the business does not always do as expected. Just like any other business,
Blake Sports Apparel Switch and Activewear faced problems and successes, lack of cohesion in
the business lead to underperformance. Employees did not communicate effectively to each
other, Cameron Barker was the one providing employees with duties and made his own decisions
without consulting with anyone in the organization.
The Case: Problems and Successes
Dysfunctions and Risks to the Business
Blake Sports Apparel and Switch Activewear was facing a number of challenges as per the
report given by Cameron Barker in that, the organization had miscommunication and
misunderstanding whereby departments and colleagues were not replying to emails from each
other (Groysberg and Baden (1). As well, sales director claimed to be insulted, the executive
team as well did not organize for effective meetings and this led to the failure of the business.
In addition, concerning responsibilities, the executive team kept on blaming on each other
for any performance gap identified. As well, the Chief Executive Officer, Barker caused a lot of
