There is a division of labor from the business, to the analyst, to the IT department. Explain how
having each of these roles ensures the proper requests are submitted. Would it be easier to have
one person handle it all? Defend your answer using specific examples to justify your reasoning.
There is a need for the division of labor within the company and the different
departments. As it allows each position to have their own tasks that need to be accomplished.
One person cannot complete several different tasks that are not related to their specific job title.
Separating these tasks out to the people who could complete them accurately, allows the
business to run smoothly. The business department ensures that the business is running as it
should be.
The analyst department focuses on data that is collected and them imputed into the databases for
further use and using the data to help the business. The IT department makes sure that all
technology is running smoothly, cybersecurity is working, and all business affiliated actions
online working as they should be.
Depending on what kind of request is being submitted decides on where that request is
going to go to first. Say that the analyst department found that a certain kind of product would be
great for the market right know and put a request in to the business department. If passed by the
business department then it would go on to operations.
After the product is made, the IT department will need to put the new product on the
business’s website. It takes everyone working for the business to run the business.
