I. Planning
Lesson This lesson focuses on English grammar. The strategy adopted for this lesson depends
summary and on grouping students into grammar teams to review, learn, and practice language
focus: (grammar)standards with a football theme. Group teams will compete to complete tasks
and prompts directed by the teacher.


Classroom The classroom contains ELL students who have different language proficiency levels. It
and student has some new immigrant students whose native language is not English. It also has some
factors: IEPs who need additional time to complete the tasks. Those demographic factors entail
the adoption of differentiation strategy in all classroom activities. Careful lesson
planning that takes into consideration accommodating all student levels is important.
Due to the different demographic factors, assessment will be various. Observation,
formative assessment as well as scaffolding will be among the assessment tools. There
are some students who are under504 plan which is designed to help kids with disabilities
learn alongside their peers.
