These mvms include the trunk, neck, face, and tongue Dystonic Slow twisting moms affect the trunk and extremities with abnormal posturing from muscle contractions Ataxic Evidence of a wide based gait and difficulty with coordination poor ability to do repetitive mvms Difficulty with quick or precise moms (writing or buttoning a shirt) Shakiness Low muscle tone Spastic Hypertonicity (muscle tightness or spasticity) increased deep tendon reflexes clonus poor control of motion, balance, and posture impairments of fine and gross motor skills often causes limbs to be shorter of thinner Gait may appeared crouch with a scissoring motion of the legs (tiptoe)
