- Continuous distribution is caused by polygenic genes
o They are quantitative inheritance

§ They are not one or the other but they follow a normal distribution
- Discontinuous distr. Is caused by 1 gene by 2 alleles.
- You can only hold 2 alleles because we have 2 chromosomes.
- Homozygous → same alleles (aa or AA)
The principles are the same
They do not violate Mendel’s laws
