Your manager has difficulty understanding how SQL works and what insights the queries you have completed reveal. Discuss how you can communicate this information to the manager to get your point across. Provide specific ideas for ways to share the information in easy to understand terms. If my manager was having a hard time understanding how SQL works and what my queries have found, I would set a time to meet my manager one on one to explain to them how it works. During the meeting, I would want to gauge their understanding on what they know about SQL, what they would like to know about SQL, and what they have a hard time understanding. Then I would start at the basics of SQL, showing them how run simply queries on SQL, explaining how simply queries work and what kind of information can be pulled from the data.
