Good Evening Class:
During the twelfth year we made some major changes to our strategy. We wanted to
work on increasing out image rating, P/Q rating and our Net Revenue. We focused on
growth more than profit and tried to gain market share. In addition we lokked at our
pricing to see fi we could be more competitive. Here is our strategy during year 12 for
our company Friendly Fotos:
Year eleven we actually ranked in the top 25 across the country, so we are very
excited! Even though we made some advancements we still moved done in our
overall by 5 points, so there is definitely room for improvement. We are now tied for
third place; however, we are trying to see what can be done to increase our image
rating.
Product Design – During the 12th year we increased our entry level camera’s P/Q
rating to 3½ stars and a 4 star P/Q for the multi-feature cameras. We decreased the
entry level camera down to two focusing more on our multi feature camera. We also
made a few other design adjustments in an effort to increase the P/Q rating.
Marketing Focus- Once again we continued to market in Europe-Africa, then Asia-
Pacific, Latin America and last North America. We increased all of the on-line
retailers, local and multi-store-chains in each area because of cost. We did not
