1. In Module 12, I learned about reflective practice, which is any technique that allows the
learner to develop a conceptual understanding of the topic. With this being the case,
could coaches use this practice to help athletes on finding solutions to better themselves
during their training?
2. I also learned about rote memorization, the process of memorizing information without
processing and understanding it. Are there any circumstances in which rote memorization
may be the best strategy?
3. In Module 13, the chapter discussed ways to foster critical thinking. Dialogue was the
first step which was an instructional method that is used to discuss a problem or an issue.
They are usually teacher-led at the beginning of a lesson but if students lead dialogue
would it be easier for them to learn and comprehend topics?
4. I also covered problem-solving. Problem-solving is the process of getting from the initial
problem to the desired goal. What is the best way to help students learn to identify that
there is a problem?
