1. Three things that I significantly learned from the video clip
I learned about the origin of the graph theory and its connection with the
Konigsberg. I learned that the degrees of each vertices/node are the edges
or bridges that connects the nodes, and with this principle of Euler, this can
be used to electrical circuits for safety and organization. The discovery of the
Konigsberg bridge that shed light to the “geometry of position” or simply
known as the ‘Graph theory’ that changed the course of Mathematics. I
learned about the Euler’s path in which by using this strategy devices by
Euler, you can create/find a route such that you can only crossed on it just
once.
2. Three things that are still unclear to me
Firstly, I am curious about how the graph theory started because it was
explained in the video clip and secondly, how would we use the Konigsberg
bridge principle to real life application. Thirdly, it is still unclear to me about
the assurance the Konigsberg concept in real life application.
3. I used to think that
The concept of electrical circuit was derived from the Konigsberg concept,
because if we would be looking at the circuit, how the electrons goes around
the circuit without failing, it just simply connects with the concept of
Konigsberg. Also, I used to think that Mathematics has so many useful and
surprising tool that can make our life easier than ever. As discussed in the
video clip about the mountain climber; its path should be crossed once and
in order to do that, the path should have an odd-even-odd degrees for it to
not crossed the same route twice.
4. Three questions that I want to ask about the video clip
1. What is the new field of math of Euler about the Konigsberg?
2. Why did the mayor mathematician in the clip objectives about the
thinking of just one route, not twice to cross?
3. In what way does the Konigsberg play a role in Mathematics?
