In September 1998, Google was founded by Mr. Brin and Mr. Page. Google, now a
worldwide search organization, is the highest considered search engine in the world- with about
70% of searches online being completed by the search engine. After over twenty years of
production, google has become one of the worlds largest brands in the world- now expanding
from a search engine, to many other services including Google Play, Google Home, and even an
inclusive line of laptops, Chromebooks. Including all of their brands and products, Google’s
mission statement is as follows: “to organize the world's information and make it universally
accessible and useful” (Google, 2018). Through these expanded products that google offers, it
can be seen that they combine essential resources, including advertising, computer software, and
their original, the Google search engine. Overall the success of any business can be seen through
the success of its leadership, and leadership is the backbone of any well oiled business model.
Innovation also plays a continued key aspect to the backbone of a businesses success and must
be tracked, followed, and supported by the organization’s leaders. Without effective leadership,
supported change cannot grab hold in an organization, and there will not be any reward for the
hard work that is required for these innovative changes (Sheninger, 2013.) As part of this
training, leaders should use their knowledge to help demonstrate the innovative expectations and
participation they wish for their current talent and developing leaders.
While becoming one of the more tough competitors in the smart home industry, google
has also taken the place of the world's leading search engine. In 2017, Google introduced the
Google Home Mini, which is a direct competitor of Amazon’s Echo Dot. By advertising, it
“keeps Google and many of the websites and services you use free of charge” (Google, 2018).
Almost all of Google’s proceeds come from ad placements and sales. The revenue for Google
