Dear Grand Hyatt Management:
First, I would like to express how I developed my passion for becoming a
restaurant supervisor. I stared managing a group of waiters at my very early
stages of working in the restaurant business, which made me learn about the
basics of how to efficiently manage a large group of people. Hence, I established
this firm understanding from experience on how to effectively supervise people in
a workplace that sparked my passion for management. So, I am applying for this
professional position as a restaurant supervisor at the Grand Hyatt hotel. I believe
that I have the needed characteristics and ambition that will help me achieve my
personal goals.
At my previous position as a branch supervisor at the Shawly Restaurant, I trained
and brought together employees to let them experience a comfortable workplace.
My specific skill of bringing employees to communicate in a professional manner
have led to an impressive twenty percent revenue boost for the restaurant. One of
these important skills that I have learned is communication, where each
connection made is essential because each person in the industry can benefit me
whether it’s from simple supplies to successful partnerships. I have brought people
from different backgrounds to work together at a very early stage of my job and
from there teamwork can easily be constructed. Therefore, I am looking forward to
successfully supervising the restaurant.
I know that I have the willingness and the determination to successfully supervise
the staff in the restaurant, as well as to contribute to the continued success within
