LEARNING TASK 4:
Think of a possible product/service that you want to introduce in the market.
Value Proposition 1.
For all drivers and transportation companies who are nature conservationists and wants to save
on buying conventional source of energy for vehicles, particularly petroleum, our product is a
water-fuelled automobile that emits only oxygen rather than the usual carbon. It is very
economical as its energy source is natural and free.
(Geoff Moore’s Value Positioning Statement)
Value Proposition 2.
Customer: I believe my best customers would be nature conservationist individuals/drivers,
medium to large-sized transportation companies and the government.
Problem: Who wants to reduce carbon pollution that causes environmental and health effects due
to gasses released during the combustion of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, to
produce energy; and, to reduce the dependence on foreign oil, since hydrogen can be derived
from renewable resources such as water, making our economies less dependent on other
countries and less susceptible to oil price shocks from an increasingly unstable oil market.
Solution: Participate in minimizing emissions through simpler and less expensive solutions,
water, a friendly source of energy for automobiles.
(Vlaskovits & Cooper’s CPS)
Value Proposition 3.
The best product to save our pocket, environment and health.
(Erick Sink’s Value Positioning)
