- Energy and change: most air pollution comes from energy use and
production. For example, one of the key air pollutants produced by
the energy sector is nitrogen dioxide. This gas is emitted during
the combustion of fossil fuels (in cars or power plants) and
contributes to the formation of ground-level ozone and fine
particulate matter air pollution.
1.3 - Teacher questions- I asked the learners to recall and comprehend
material that was previously read or taught, for example, I taught them the
difference between light energy and heat energy, then I asked them to
recall and tell me the difference between those two energies. During the
lesson I asked questions which keep the classroom operations moving,
questions that emphasize a point or reinforce an idea. I also asked
questions to check retention or focus thinking on a particular point in my
lesson.
- Learner predictions and explanations: I asked the learners to predict and
explain what will happen if you put a plastic object in a light energy and the
other plastic object in a heat energy.
- Social or group work skills: I used cooperative learning. I conducted
groups of students of mixed levels of ability, and I rewarded them
according to the group’s success rather than the success of an individual
members.
- Language; I used spoken language to communicate with the learners
during the lesson, to present tasks, engage in learning process, assess
