This stage includes the hiring of a new employee. Companies use employees that design and
automate all aspects of the hiring process. Recruiting the right candidate depends on the level of
understanding of their reactions and perspectives. Predictive perspective is which results from
particular selection tools are linked to positive performance outcomes in the workplace, such as
interviews or psychometric tests.
Psychometric – any selection technique needs to be reliable. While unstructured employment
interviews are very popular in industry and they lack reliability. Psychometric principles of
recruitment offers validity as the scores predicted at the selection can be compared with that of
the job performance. The consist of valid selection measure, such as ability test (cognition), big
five measuring of personality, competency, criterion referenced testing. There are some measures
of qualities. Such as, freedom from bias, meta-analysis, psychometric model, predictive validity,
