Orthostatic

Vomiting
Post-op priority assessment: Vital
signs Incentive spirometer
● 10 times per hour
● Take deep breath and hold for 5 minutes
● Provide a tight seal with mouth around
mouth piece If patient had facial surgery place
them in semi-fowlers Make sure patient is NPO 10
