NR510: Week 1 Barriers to Practice

Read the assigned Hain & Fleck article, and discuss the following: ● What are the barriers to APN practice identified in the article? Hain & Fleck’s article was extremely informative and gave me a better insight on the barriers that nurse practitioners are facing as primary care providers. I was aware of some of the barriers identified in the article, but I did not know all of the details. Hain and Fleck (2014) discussed three main barriers: state practice and license, physician related issues, and payer policies.
