PSY 565 Topic 4 DQ 1
Does the at-will doctrine conflict with the 10 steps? What are some of the ethical concerns of a
right to work policy?
The at will doctrine simply put means an employee can leave their job at any time for no
reason with no legal recourse. In fairness to the employer it also means they can fire the
employee at anytime for no reason, and they can change the conditions of their employment
including wages, hours, benefits and other terms in their relationship (Aamodt, 2016).
