HOW DOES A COMPANY RUN THE BUSINESS?—>from the business model’s point of
view
Business model=
• the way the company reaches its goals
• What characterises a company in the market
• Strategy
—>How the organisation:
• Create value: products, services
• Deliver value: channels to reach the customers, we need to understand the
target’s behaviour, the marketing (how we increase the awareness of the
costumers)
• Capture value: revenues (what we take back)
All these aspects are collateral of the business model
THE BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS (BMC)= a tool used to observe and read the business
model, so how companies work.
Composed of 9 blocks that describes the 3 previous aspects.
1. Value proposition: what companies offer
2. Costumer segments: to who
3. Channels: how we reach them (shop)
4. Costumer relationships: how we reach them (advertising)
Loyalty —> it costs much less
