EDU 620 WEEK 3 ASSIGNMENT, INSTRUCTIONAL
PLAN ANALYSIS
The concern I have as a new educator is how I will reach my students with disabilities
and maintain a stable class of learning for all students. Training will prepare me I still feel I can
do more to educate all learners. Meeting the need of the different learning styles and abilities will
be challenging. Working with 21centery technology will provide me with great resources to
assist the student differential learning. No matter where you teach or what you are teaching you
will be concerned about your student’s ability to learn what you are teaching.

1 Author: CAST
Subject: Science
Grade Level(s): Pre-K–2
On the first day of the life cycle of butterflies we are discussing the growth cycle which
focuses on their eating abilities, growth cycles, for this lesion I will address several ways for
student base individual learning, giving the student the choice of chosen how they want to
showcase their learning.
Our text states multiple means of representation may be understood as providing students
with alternatives to learning information beyond solely using a textbook. Teachers today have
many choices when it comes to presenting instructional content to students: Watch a YouTube
video, listen to a podcast, read text on a webpage, look up a topic using Wikipedia, and more.
The key notion is to break out of the one-size-fits-all model, which assumes that all students
learn in the same way, and to encourage teachers to use a wider palette of information containers
to reach diverse students (Edyburn, 2013)
