Derogable and non-derogable rights
A derogable right is a right that can be negotiable and compromised if need be. A
non-derogable right is a human right that can never be waived, changed, or
removed - in most cases.
A non-derogable right can be absolute or non-absolute. While non-derogable
rights cannot be waived, they do have limitations. Take for example the non-
derogable right; the right to life, it can be taken away from someone after they
have committed an atrocious crime and is sentenced to the death penalty. In
