The purpose of this paper is to examine the case study: An Elderly Hispanic Man with
Major Depressive Disorder. It will cover the three decision points during treatment that affects
the medications prescribed including the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic processes,
when relevant to the case. The explanation will cover why each decision was chosen and the
rationale behind those decisions.
