Unit 19: DEVELOPING TEAMS IN BUSINESS
P4: Demonstrate working as part of a team towards achieving specific goals
TASK DESCRIPTION CARRIED OUT BY
Set Objectives Discussed the objectives of working together as a
team which were to:
1. Complete the task by a specific deadline.
2. Both put in effort and commit to the
completion of the task.
3. Ensure that both of communicate and assist
each other when creating the presentation.
4. Ensure that each other is notified if one
decides to update to add anything to the
presentation.
Choose team leader Choosing a team leader based on mutual
agreement.
Break down the tasks Since there is only 2 group members the task would
have to be broken down evenly therefore:
Prepare structure of the 1. Cover/Introduction assigned to A
presentation 2. Benefits of Team Working assigned to A
3. The theories of team working assigned to S
4. The theories of leadership assigned to both
members in which each individual created
two slides.
5. Conclusion assigned to S
Prepare presentation Decide on how the presentation will be conducted.
1. S presented the Introduction.
2. A presented the Benefits of Team Working.
3. S presented the Theories of Team Working.
4. A and both took turns on presenting the
Theories of Leadership in which each person
presented two slides each.
5. S presented the conclusion.
