SAMI PSYCHOLOGY
a. First variable: The time spent studying (hours). This variable is defined as the amount of
time that one uses to study daily. This is answered through a questionnaire asking
participants the amount of time that they used to study daily.
b. The second variable: Test scores. The variable is defined as the outcome after undergoing
a test in the classroom. The scores may be high or low.
c. Hypothesis: The test scores may vary depending on the time used to study before the
test. When the studying hours are more, the scores will be high and vice versa.
d. The independent variable is the time that is spent in studying, while the dependent
variable will be the test scores.
e. The variables have an interrelation in my daily life so that if one activity is not
thoroughly done, it will affect the outcome of the results that I wanted to achieve. When
it comes to preparedness, I give all my time in getting ready for any task ahead of me,
and by doing so, the results will be good, and I will be inspired to work hard. When I
have not adequately prepared for a task, it affects the results, which might not be
according to o my expectations and quite disheartening.
