I don’t believe a reevaluation would be the way to go. Donna was diagnosed with Asperger’s
Disorder. Donna shows evidence of social and emotional issues. She was said to be awkward and
odd in mannerism. She lacks the ability to keep eye contact and had problems staying focus on
the subject at hand, when someone is talking about a different issue, instead of flowers, because
Donna loves flowers and wants to talk about them. After being bullied by a boy, she decided to
take matters into her own hands and write a letter, and it had a grave and some flowers on it. The
boy’s parents brought it to the teacher and Donna was suspended from school and charged with
terroristic threatening. Nothing was mentioned of Donna being on the A and B honor roll up
until
the 8th grade.

When reviewing the information that I found available Donna intelligence was found to be in the
upper limits of the average (WISC-V). The Asperger Disorder Scale was the same as the mothers
and daughter which was a clinically significant range. So some of Donna’s problems were
related to her mother, whether it genetic or just how her mother would act at home, so in all
fairness, could Donna just be acting like her mother.
Discuss the ethical responsibilities a psychologist must consider if choosing to use
psychological assessment tools to re-evaluate the client.
