STIGMA 3 The Daily Struggles A concern by a definition from the Cambridge dictionary “to trouble someone with feeling of anxiety; worry. (Cambridge English Dictionary, 2017)” This definition often varies from someone who has a mental illness. During my interview with H.R. E-H I asked for her definition of this word, her response was “I take internally. What things I worry about is, what worries my loved ones, how do I fix the concern? How do I make it go away? Worry is bad”. So, her concern is about the anxiety of others, not the anxiety of her own life. My client is a 40-year-old Caucasian female, married for 13 years follows the Christian based faith, has 1, 19-year-old step daughter, who did not grow up in the client’s home, and lives in northern Minnesota. Two very active boys ages 11 and 9. She and her husband own a home in a small rural community. She is employed full time by a major-medical facility as a patient
