The company is planning to expand the business by adding an additional location. Throughout the business we have experts in various areas of the company that focus on improving the process of opening a second location. Their goal is to decrease wait times, improve time and quality of deliveries and increase customer satisfactions as a whole. In addition to improving customer satisfaction, there will also be some new additions for the staff. The company will install workstations that allows the servers to work more efficiently when Process Improvement Plan fulfilling orders. The company will also purchase new equipment, tools and all the necessary food ingredients that are needed for the staff to effectively service the customers. Lastly, there must be a great sales register that can be used easily by the staff and it must have the ability to keep track of all the inventory. While the ultimate goal is to decrease wait times, improve time and quality of deliveries and increase customer Process Improvement Plan satisfactions, there must be metrics put in place to measure the effectiveness of the servers and the satisfaction of the customers. Wild Dog Café Coffee Company will have new items on the menu at the second location. The company has promised to deliver high quality service so that the customer satisfaction and retention of the customers continue to increase. One way that Wild Dog Café Coffee could improve on customer wait time is to utilize a system for customers to order and pay online. This performance can be measured to see if the customer wait time is reduced, stayed the same or took longer. Tracking these metrics will allow the company to track the process for the customers and the staff overall satisfaction and hopefully increase revenue .
