Nursing informatics is the applied incorporation of nursing care knowledge and skills
with information technology to realize a more operative data analysis and management of data in
the healthcare system (Wang and Byrd, 2018). A nursing informatics system aims at processing,
managing, defining, transmitting data and information to numerous individuals in a system. The
electronic development plays an important part in the healthcare sector, as well as aiding in
knowledge and administrative process in nursing practices. Nursing informatics has an impact on
understanding improved nursing practice outcomes (McGonigle and Mastrian, 2015). The latter
advances the efficacy of nursing delivery in numerous ways.
There is a need for the improvement of patients with the development of additional
complicated illnesses. The earth is tormented by an illness that requires the utmost nursing care
practice. For example, cases of communicable diseases are on the intensifies in several parts of
the universe, with many deceases reported every day. Nursing care is a vital point in
understanding better healthcare outcomes. Nursing informatics is one of the ways to advance the
efficacy of patient care thereby improving the outcome of universal healthcare system
(McGonigle and Mastrian, 2015). Application of nursing informatics plan in healthcare system
requires numerous necessities which include the appropriate individuals to run the technical
infrastructure, economic involvement, and appropriate support of several stakeholders.
The healthcare nursing informatics plan proposed in this paper is an integrated healthcare
informatics system which includes electronic healthcare records management, new nurse
training, automated task allocation, and performance evaluation system (McGonigle and
Mastrian, 2015). The integrated nursing system would be able to handle and organize numerous
healthcare system sectors which includes patient information, easing the training of new nurses,
assigning doctors and nurses to listed patients, aiding in the health care executive process and
