This was a conversation between my husband and I. We were arguing about money and not
spending enough time together.
A. Explain what happened, including answers to the following questions: This was a
conversation between my husband and I about money and not spending enough time
together. We are currently working opposite schedules and do not see each other very
much. We also have different views on money and paying bills and saving money.
1. Why did the conversation happen?
a. This conversation happened because we are not able to spend very much time
together because of our current schedules being the opposite of each other. We
also have different views on how to pay bills and spend money.
2. What was said?
a. I said “We need to make an effort to spend more time together when we do
have a day off.” He said, “We do spend our days off together. I said, “We
don’t actually do anything, we just are working on the house or the park
model, we need to actually make an effort to do something that doesn’t
involve Alyssa or working around the house or park model. We need to
actually go out with just us to have some alone time together.” He said,
“We don’t have the time or money to do anything, we are always too busy
working on this stupid park model that you wanted to buy.” During the
conversation we were both interrupting each other and not fully listening to
what the other was saying. We were too caught up in trying to get our point
