Request
The issue I have is to request for lowering of the Education cost in my school. For the last
couple of months, there have been instances of school fee increment, making some of our strain
so much in raising the required amount and in time. Basically, I would wish the management to
check into some of the factors they can address that can lower the school fees. The reason is that
not all come from wealthy backgrounds that can afford the amount all at once. My request is
persuasion because some students have been suffering silently with no one ready to address the
issues. I have witnessed a couple of individuals dropping out of school due to financial
constraints in the long run. I have no doubt in my mind that these individuals will not let my
efforts don and with little influence, I believe that we will stand together peacefully and united to
address our grievances to the administration of our institution.
Audience Analysis
My primary target audience is students. The main reason I am targeting my fellow
students is that we are the ones being affected by the issue of fee increment. For the longest time,
some of the factors that have caused school fee increment have not been substantiated and have
had some adverse effects on the students. I believe education in our country should be affordable
to all individuals and thus the need to address the issues affecting equitable education to all. For
instance, some of the increments are not constitutional; they might have been propagated by a
few greedy individuals who have personal interests. Therefore, I believe it is the right time to
address the issues. Some of the factors that I have taken into account for my audience have been
the different social backgrounds and financial constraints/dropouts recorded in the past.
