A. Fantasy play – In nonliteral, meaning it is not realistic. It involves pretense and
symbolism and greatly evokes a child’s imaginative capacity. In this type of play,
children take on different roles and are able to examine and understand various of
interpersonal interactions and social situations.
B. Word play - Is a literary technique and a form of wit in which words used become the
main subject, primarily for the purpose of intended effect or amusement. Through play
children learn mathematical vocabulary spontaneously. Learners talk when they play
and ask questions such as “How many frogs jumps have you done?” The parent or
teachers provides feedback, which helps them to make sense of, and understand the
mathematical concepts.
