Introduction:
The two contrasting companies that I chose are Nike and Kiva.
Nike is a profit company. Kiva is a non-profit company.
Nike:
Employee leaving: that there is no longer a person who used to work there.
o Example: Nike need a Brand creative art director and I think that they need
new brand creative art director, because maybe the team got fired, are sick
for a long time or left themselves. I think this because they have several
positions available for that function written in the application.
Expanding: is when a company is growing, so they need more employees.
o Example: Nike need an executive assistant, because they are expanding. So,
they need more employees. They are growing and getting bigger.
Sickness: This is when an employee is unable to work for a temporary period
because he is ill or has just had an operation and needs to recover before he can
work again.
o Example: Nike need an temporary part time athlete (sales associate), they
just need it for a temporary time, so the reasons that it is temporary may be,
because an employee just had a surgery so he/she cannot work for a
temporary time or maybe the employee has a sickness.
